The highly anticipated Bell Shakespeare production of Henry 4 launched its season in Canberra on Tuesday night as part of its 13 week Australian tour.
In Henry 4, Bell Shakespeare’s Artistic Director, John Bell, plays the role of Falstaff - a role that sees him don a fat suit, sporting a beard and long, greasy grey hair. The Australian dubbed his performance as ‘one of the best performances of (Bell’s) long and distinguished career)’.
